Place to Visit

Pinerolo: Pinerolo is a fascinating historical town rich in monuments, churches and beautiful buildings.
We can highlight the Palazzo del Senato (Senate Building), dating back to the 1400s, and the Palazzo dei Principi d'Acaja (Palace of the Princes of Acaja), originally the Prince's consultation room, which still evokes memories of the ancient castle's former splendour. Its most notable religious buildings include the Cathedral ("Duomo"), built in 1044, and its bell tower which dates back to 1518.
The town can also boast the Cavallerizza Caprilli (Riding School), the largest covered stables in Italy, the National Museum of Cavalry Arms, with the largest collection in Europe, the Museum of Prehistoric Art, the Museum of Natural Sciences and the Martinat Ornithological park in Via S.Antonio, the largest aviary in the world with over 2,000 birds. The park also houses monkeys, tigers, leopards and many other types of animals.

Prarostino: Among the buildings of significant interest are the places of worship dedicated to San Bartolomeo, the catholic church, and the Waldensian Temple.
Also worthy of mention is the "Faro della Libertà" ("Torch of Freedom"), which commemorates the victims of the struggle for freedom and provides excellent panoramic views of the surrounding area.
